First of all, what is TRACKER?
A TRACKER unit is a small electronic homing device which is fitted to your vehicle in any number o covert places which are virtually impossible to detect. Unlike other similar systems, there are no telltale antennas or aerials to give its presence away. When it is stolen, it will emit a signal that the police can pick up. There are two ststems, TRACKER Retrieve and the rapid alert TRACKER Monitor.
Whats the difference between TRACKER Monitor and TRACKER Retrieve?
With TRACKER Retrieve, once you realise that your vehicle has been stolen you notify both the police and the 24 hour TRACKER Network Control room.
TRACKER Monitor incorporates a movement detector so the unit actually senses the theft of the vehicle and automatically alerts TRACKER Network who in turn contact you and inform you of the probable theft.
How does it work and what happens?

The vehicle is stolen - Theives are becoming more and more skillful at by passing alarms and immobilisers. |

The vehicle is gone, what do i do now? - Either you or the TRACKER notifies the TRACKER network and the police 24 hours a day, 365 Days a year. |

Activate the system - Once the theft has been confirmed by you, the TRACKER 24-hour Network Control room activates the unit. The unit then emits a silent signal on a unique frequency which can be detected by the police and the tracking procedure begins. |

Tracking the vehicle - All of the UK's 52 Police forces operate the system. Police cars and heilcopters are equipped with the correct equipment to detect and recover your vehicle. |

Apprehending the vehicle - As the tracker system uses radio waves it can be detected anywhere - in a garage, underground, in the back of a lorry or even in a steel shiiping container. Quite often the theif is caught as well, on on occasions police find other vehicles in a "haul" as well as yours. |

Guard and Recover - The theft of your vehicle is never conveient. It is even less convenient if its 100 miles away. As standard on both systems TRACKER will arrange for a uniformed guard to wait with your vehicle and ensure its safe return by the AA anywhere in mainland Britain. |
